Bob Conlin began his career in advertising over 40 years ago, earning a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Eastern Michigan University. He began working as an art studio apprentice in Royal Oak, Michigan, and then as a graphic designer for an Ann Arbor agency.
In 1988, he formed R.J. Conlin Marketing & Design, and over the next 30 years, Bob has partnered with many businesses and organizations to help them succeed by providing strategic marketing, advertising and graphic communication services. Bob spends his free time volunteering at the Ann Arbor Downtown Kiwanis Club and other charities. He also loves jogging and playing golf.

After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design with a marketing minor from Eastern Michigan University, Richard Rae spent two years working in the catalog department of a local sporting goods distributor, where he honed his creative and technical skills in the areas of page layout, photo retouching, design and art direction. He has since spent over 20 years with R.J. Conlin leading the creative team, developing high-level marketing and design solutions. His brand-based approach emphasizes both creative concept development and strategic marketing.
He has successfully completed projects for high-profile clients such as General Motors, Terumo Cardiovascular Group and Maxion Wheels, as well as numerous local and regional businesses. Richard is an avid amateur landscape and wildlife photographer, traveling extensively to scenic and remote locations within the U.S. to pursue his passion.

Kelly is one of the key creative forces at R.J. Conlin, developing an incredible array of design strategies, concepts and finished pieces. She has also been instrumental in developing Brand Culture Design at R.J. Conlin, where client brands are expressed through custom environmental art and graphics, creating inspiring workplaces.
Kelly has a rich history of working with non-profits such as The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, Think Local First in Ann Arbor and the Ann Arbor Symphony. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kendall College of Art and Design. Kelly is an avid adventurous traveler and is a supporter of local businesses, local government and community.

Alanna is responsible for our relationships with key R.J. Conlin clients. She guides our work for The M Den, Church Extension Fund, Faurecia, and DexKo – as well as our pro bono and reduced-rate projects for selected non-profits. For all clients, Alanna’s bottom-line is to deliver business results that make an impact. Elevating the brand is her consistent focus: Alanna doesn’t rest until we’ve found the Big Idea to make the client’s marketing campaign sing.
Alanna earned her degree in advertising from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2016. She’s proud to have won the award for Best Art-Directed Campaign two years in a row at CU’s annual advertising show. Also during Alanna’s college years, internships took her to leading advertising agencies in Boulder and Rome, Italy. Not bad!
Alanna recently bought a home in Ann Arbor and has started remodeling it. There, she’s getting to test her talent for interior design. Alanna also loves rescuing big dogs, cooking, baking, movies, and travel.

Angela Wagner has spent over two decades in the agency world, working for clients, such as Maxion Wheels, Terumo CVS Group, Absopure Water, The M Den, Faurecia Interior Systems and many more. In addition to leading the R.J. Conlin team, she develops strategies and plans to meet client marketing objectives and help them achieve maximum success.
Angie has managed key accounts and has been on the management team at R.J. Conlin for the past 5 years. Her past experience as a Media Director, Director of Account Service and Operations Manager has well-prepared her to lead R.J. Conlin into the future. She has a passion for brand-based solutions and helping people to reach their full potential. Angie also likes to swim, bike, golf and spend time with her family.

Chris has been writing since he can remember. He studied journalism at the University of Michigan, where he wrote for The Michigan Daily, then worked in communications and marketing for ADP, Interface Systems, Mechanical Dynamics, and Cleo Communications. For nearly two decades, Chris had his own creative services and marketing firm called DesignHub. In 2019, he began referring clients to R.J. Conlin and joined us as a copywriter.
Chris grew up in Redford, just west of Detroit. He came to the Ann Arbor area for college, and never left. Chris loves his family, traveling, hiking, reading, Alfred Hitchcock movies, the Beatles, mystery novels, baseball, and crossword puzzles of every kind (there are many!).

Gary Treer is a brand-based marketing specialist with over two decades of experience working with a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 corporations and national non-profits to local organizations and start-up firms.
He assists R.J. Conlin’s clients in developing their brands, messaging, strategies and communication materials. He earned his marketing degree from the University of Michigan. Gary loves music, cooking, his Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and spending time in Alaska.

David truly loves numbers. His entire professional career has been in accounting. Before joining R.J. Conlin, David mainly crunched the numbers for hotels and clubs. This included some 30 years with Meadowbrook Country Club, near Northville, Michigan. David earned his accounting degree from Detroit College of Business.
Away from the adding and subtracting, David enjoys time with his family and friends. He especially likes to golf and bowl. David and his wife go RVing in spring, summer, and fall. Tucker, their Golden Retriever, is a constant companion.
