R.J. Conlin is looking for creative interns to help with an engaging, fun social media project. In particular, we’re looking for creative writers, graphic designers and videographers interested in creative social medial content to work alongside our team. These are internships are unpaid, but have the potential to turn into on-going, paid, freelance work or even a full-time position if the fit is right. Hours are flexible; potential to work from home some days.

The ideal candidates must have excellent writing skills, are organized and be proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as any programs required for your particular skill set. (For example, Graphic Designer candidates should have a good grasp of Adobe Creative Suite.)

Job Requirements

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Access to your own smart phone, computer and software required to perform assigned work
  • A degree concentration in Digital Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Production, Journalism or Advertising preferred, but not necessary if you have great work examples
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Personable, professional and must be able to interact and sit in meetings
  • Comfortable with taking direction and critique from other team members in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Able to collaborate and hit deadlines

R.J. Conlin Marketing & Design is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to join our team.

An efficient and detail-oriented individual with bookkeeping/accounting training. Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks; a plus if you have experience in Workamajig software. Strong organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills required. Confidentiality and professionalism is a must.

Bookkeeper General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cash Flow Analysis & Monitoring
  • Accounts Receivable – Invoicing, past due notices, make deposits
  • Accounts Payable –Input vendor invoices, pay invoices
  • Organization – Timesheet and Payroll Report Notebook
  • Payroll – Monitor timesheets and submit bi-weekly payroll to payroll company, enter GJE, distribute pay stubs, distribute annual W2s
  • Sales Tax – Payment and reports
  • Ad Hoc Reports
  • Annual Tax Reports
  • Simple IRA Administrator
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour

Full-Time Account Executive

We are currently looking for an Account Executive. Applicant must have a degree in advertising, marketing or communications and have 5 plus years of agency experience. The position involves managing existing clients in the automotive field as well as developing new accounts.
